Ipswich Spy reveals Suffolk’s Best Kept Secret – Us!

Chris, Rachel and Phil 2

CMG Technologies is pleased to report that it was recently featured in the IoD Suffolk magazine as an example of a thriving Suffolk based business at the leading edge of manufacturing innovation.

The feature included interviews with all three directors and outlined some of the reasons for the company’s phenomenal recent success, as well as opportunities for further growth in the future.

Phil Marsh, Technical and Production Director, explained why the company has gone from strength to strength since the management buy-out at the end of 2013,“We always strive to continuously push the boundaries of MIM to keep us ahead of the competition and to enable us to take on a greater range of products.”

As the largest Metal Injection Moulding (MIM) operation in the UK, CMG is playing an active role in making sure Suffolk’s engineering and manufacturing heritage remains very much alive and kicking. It hosted an IoD Business Leaders breakfast earlier this year on the subject of management buy-outs, and also took the opportunity to introduce guests to the vast capabilities of MIM manufacturing.

Sales and Marketing Director, Rachel Garrett, comments, “MIM manufacturing is still relatively unknown so the more people that get to hear about it the better. Our process offers enormous opportunities for a wide range of companies that need to manufacture complex components and we are proud to work with some of the UK’s leading manufacturers.”
