CMG Technologies is proud to be hosting the Institute of Directors (IoD) Suffolk Business Leader breakfast at its Rendlesham HQ tomorrow morning.

The networking event will examine Management Buyouts and Financial Support – two subjects CMG Technologies has a wealth of experience in having undergone a management buyout itself in November 2013.

The current management team bought the company, which was previously trading as Egide UK, following a change of direction by the former parent company. It has since been awarded a grant from New Anglia LEP which facilitated investment in an additional sintering furnace to help the ambitious company access new markets.

Technical Sales and Marketing Director, Rachel Garrett, says, “2014 was an extremely exciting year for us following the purchase of Egide UK in 2013. We underwent a complete re-branding exercise and launched a new website, but at the same time we needed to reassure our clients that whilst the company was changing ownership, there would not be any significant changes in terms of our services and how we do business.

“We are delighted to have been offered the opportunity to share our experience of this transition with other local business leaders and are looking forward to a lively morning of discussion and debate.”
