CMG Technologies is delighted to welcome Mark Leonard who joins the team as our Technical Sales Manager.
The on-the-road role was created following Indo-MIM’s acquisition of CMG, with growth a key goal for the future.
Mark will be travelling across the UK to generate new clients and promote the fantastic work of both CMG and Indo-MIM. Additionally, he will continue to build on existing relationships with our client-base.
With more than 25 years’ experience in the engineering and manufacturing sector, Mark brings both knowledge and enthusiasm to the role.
Beginning his career in the non-ferrous metals industry, Mark’s role has developed from the shop floor to sales management. His diverse knowledge and practical experience have helped him understand the vast and intricate work of CMG without struggle.
Mark said: “I’m extremely happy so far, I’ve fitted in perfectly. You know quickly when you’re going to fit into a team, and everyone here has been brilliant.
“The MIM and metal 3D printing process is fascinating. When I left school, I was an apprentice toolmaker and some of the processes are very similar – it feels like I’ve gone full-circle!
“For me, the opportunities at CMG Technologies and the varied customer base are just brilliant.”
Outside of work, Mark is the personal taxi driver for his three daughters aged 12, 14 and 16. With a natural interest and talent for DIY, Mark also helps his elderly parents with the upkeep of their house.
In addition to looking after the family, Mark has taken part in many park runs and regularly plans days out with loved ones.
Mark will undoubtedly play an integral role in the growth of CMG and the whole company is excited to have him on board.
